Stop 3

Patterson Golf Park or Bogeys Sports Park

Patterson’s two,18 hole mini golf courses and covered driving range offer timeless fun in a charming setting. Brightly colored animal sculptures and whimsical designs adorn the courses, making them perfect backdrops for family selfies–or holes in one! As a bonus, the concession stand is a great stop for post-competition snacks.

Bogeys Sports Park is an equally exciting alternative where “please don’t touch” doesn’t apply. A golf course, a driving range, batting cages, and little links for smaller players provide fun for every age and stage. The best adventures are the least complicated.

Rassawek Vineyard

Rassawek’s 1,000 acres of rural paradise showcase Goochland in its seasonal glory. The vineyard’s Spring Jubilee and Autumn Festival are annual must-do’s, featuring local wineries and craft breweries, food trucks, live music, and kids’ activities galore. During the festivities, Rassawek’s vintage trains, heritage buildings, and agritourism activities are your family’s express ticket to fun. Featuring beautifully restored rail cars, a general store, a ticket station, and a log cabin, Rassawek Vineyard preserves the past and takes a hands-on approach to history.

Planning tip: the Spring Jubilee is held in June and the Autumn Festival is held in October.
